3 Hours in a Van Heading North

3 hours in a van driving north wasn't so bad

3 hours is a lot of time, especially when the kids are buckled in and can’t go anywhere and possibly sleeping. So what does a mom do with 3 hours when she’s traveling?

Here’s what I did.

First I started by drinking an always enjoyable Starbucks coffee, slowly.

Then I enjoyed traffic with Vedder pointing out tractor trailers, backhoes, excavators, flatbeds, tower cranes, planes and water (all within the first 30 minutes lol).

I did some blog editing  and checked emails for work.

I wrote some blog posts for my own blog, including the one you’re reading right now.

I did my quick “no make-up, make-up” just to feel a little more fresh.

Took the occasional picture.

Did some texting (I wasn’t driving).

Then I just enjoyed the scenery as we got closer to our destination, and listen to the cry’s of a 17 month old who was no longer interested in being in his car seat.

3 hours in a van driving north wasn't so bad, actually quite productive

The 3 hours spent driving in the van heading north actually felt productive.

Well spent 3 hours.
